Adam Brickner
Adam Started playing at Hobart College in 1979 and then he joined the New York Rugby Club from 1980 through 1985. Adam played on the 1985 Gold Medal team at the Empire State Games. Adam was an All American at the University of Colorado in 1986,1987,1988. Adam was on the 1986 third place team at the National Championship at Pebble Beach, CA. Adam played in the All-Americans vs. The Dutch National Students at Life College in 1988. After college, Adam played with the Denver Barbarians from 1988 through 1997 and was on their 1990 National Champion. Adam was a member of 2 Aspen Ruggerfest Championship teams. With Denver, Adam played in the Rugby 7’s National Championships from 1989 through 1997 placing as high as 3rd place. Adam also represented the Western Union All-Stars at several ITT’s and Toured Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
Maccabi USA Rugby
Adam Brickner represented Maccabi USA Rugby three times winning two bronze medals and one silver medal. Adam played in the first ever Maccabi USA Rugby team in 1985, was 1989 Captain and 1993. Adam played all back row positions throughout his Maccabi USA Rugby career. Adam also participated in several Battle of New Orleans Rugby tournaments with the team. Adam played for the team at the 1993 ITT’s, the Toronto 7’s and the winning team at the Worcester 7’s Championship Team. Adam also was a member of the team in 1995 that went to Uruguay.
