Update on National Tracking Camps

We have two scheduled  combines to identify eligible players to be considered for participation wth Maccabi USA Rugby in upcoming tournaments and camps.

Our combines are being held in conjunction with US Rugby. The  NTCs are a continuation of the National Team Olympic Recruitment Camp and Eagle Recruitment Festivals, providing athletes with high-class training environments under the supervision of members of current national team coaching staffs to enter the national team pathways, from the Junior All-American entry point to the senior Eagles teams in both XVs and sevens. These combines will also be held to identify eligible Maccabi USA players to be invited to participate in the various local and international tournaments that we will be participating in, including the World Maccabiah Games to be held in Israel in 2017

Players looking to be invited to participate further with Maccabi USA Rugby will need to attend any ONE of these combines.

The Combines will be held in the following locations:

Saratoga Springs, NY NTC (06/11/16) (expires 06/09/2016)

Salt Lake City, UT NTC (06/11/16) (expires 06/09/2016)

In addition to the opportunity to be identified for further participation with the Maccabi USA Rugby Team, The NTCs offer a further opportunity to be seen by national team personnel, though they do not replace an athlete’s collegiate, club, or professional competition as a primary reference point for performance.

Athletes that perform at a high level will not only be considered for future selection to specific national team assemblies, but contracts with USA Rugby’s Olympic Development Academy programs, as well. The National Development Academies play a pivotal role in the ascension of American rugby athletes to the international stage.

Maccabi USA Rugby is honored to have been included as a program for eligible athletes attending these combines to be considered for.

Participation at one of these combines is mandatory for further consideration unless a candidate has been excused by our Head Coach Shawn Lipman.
