Save the Dates-Events leading up to 2017 Games

The campaign to win two GOLD medals at the 20th World Maccabiah Games begins in earnest.

We have a very full schedule planned, leading up to our departure to Israel for pre-camp on June 25, 2017.

The first key events will be our West Coast and East Coast one day combines. Players will be tested in accordance with the highest International and Olympic standards. More details to follow.

June 4, 2016- Los Angeles/Southern , California

The West Coast combine is being held in collaboration with the Tiger Rugby Academy, an Olympic Development Academy.

June 11, 2016- Saratoga, New York

The East Coast combine is being held in collaboration with the Northeast Rugby Academy, an Olympic Development Academy.

Players who wish to be considered for the team will be required to attend either one of these combines, unless expressly released from attending by the Head Coach.

A broad squad will be named after these combines. This squad will have players added or removed as we get closer to final selections for the World Games in Israel.

The tentative schedule is as follows:

July 29 to Aug 1, 2016- CanAm Saranac Lake Tournament

Two teams will be entered into the CanAm Saranac Lake Tournament

September 15 to September 18. 2016- Aspen Ruggerfest

One team will be selected to compete in the Premier Division

March 3 to March 6, 2017- Las Vegas Invitational

A Sevens team will be selected and a Fifteens team will be selected to compete at the largest tournament in the USA.

Squad for Maccabiah Games will then be finalized.

May 26 to May 29, 2017- Training Camp and/or PRO Rugby Fixture

Current plan is to train at the Olympic Training center in San Diego

Navy Seals training

and/or Fixture against PRO Rugby side or PRP side
